With a passion for fine hay production, Brookside hay recently purchased a property based in gingin for the production of irrigated Lucerne hay, and seasonal oaten hay.
The property is own and run by a generational farming family D & M hood & Sons and currently managed by Brett Hood, Brett is a fourth generation farmer with a passion for producing fine quality weed free hay for the horse market,
With there being such small windows on timing for cutting and bailing hay to ensure energy and protein levels in the hay stay at there highest to ensure your animal is only getting the finest of hay, Brookside has been equipped with the latest machinery equipment so we are able to cut and bale our hay at optimum times when the plant is at is peak.
Bales are moved into storage sheds as soon as possible to ensure no damage is caused by external weather factor.
